The new 2006 AHA curriculum is now being taught in each class.  

BLS Certification Course

The certification course is designed for those who do not currently hold a BLS certification or those who wish to spend more time practicing the skills to renew their BLS certification.  This course runs from 0800-1230.

BLS Renewal Certification Course

The renewal course is designed for those who currently hold an AHA BLS certification.  Your certification card must be valid at the time of the training.  Cards are valid through the end of the specified month.  This course runs from 1300-1600.

As part of the below registration process you MUST also bring a copy of your current BLS card to the renewal course.  Applicants will not be admitted to the course if a current and valid certification card is not presented.

Location: OFRD training room, Tower Building, 1101 Wootton Parkway, Rockville MD

For the Tuesday, 26 June 2007 from BLS courses, class size is 15 slots per session. Class participants will be selected based on the order that applications are submitted .  Once the course participants have been selected, they will be notified with further instructions.

Courses

  • Tuesday, 26 June 2007 from 0800-1230, certification course.
  •  Tuesday, 26 June 2007 from 1300-1600, Renewal certification course.

Once again the course participants have been selected, they will be notified with further instructions.
