Web-based Training Modules
All active duty members of the Commissioned Corps are eligible for participation in the web-based training.
All Officers
have been assigned
training accounts and may begin participating in the training program by going directly to the training site at
"OFRD Training"
- If you do not currently have access, that may be because you are a newly
commissioned officer and your record is not up-to-date in the OFRD database.
Please visit the OFRD website and update your record.
- It will take approximately two weeks from your call to active duty (CAD)
for new officers to have access to their training accounts.
- TO LOG ON
to the ONLINE training:,
you will need to enter your Web-training userid. This is NOT
the same as your OFRD userid; however, it is just as easy to remember. Your
Web-training userid is the
first initial of your first name followed by the
first initial
of your last name and the last 4 digits of your social security
number. For the initial sign-on your UserID and password will be the same.
For example,
Renee Joskow 123-45-6789 would be
RJ6789
Note that both letters must be typed in upper case.
-
- Once at the site please take your time familiarizing yourself with each section.
- HOME - includes personalized information and announcements about the web-based
training program
- LEARN - includes all of your selected curriculum items
- LIBRARY - archives and glossary
- DISCUSS - includes discussion forums and general information
- CONFERENCE - includes events calendar
- PROFILE - includes personal information, results, certificates and overall progress in
the program

certificates and grant you the correct continuing education credit.
- Please click HOME (top) -> GROUPS (left) -> ENROLL IN GROUPS (lower tabs) and
select ONLY the group(s) you belong to. Please note that this will not affect the content
you are given, only the certificates you may print.
- 2. UPDATE YOUR PROFILE
- Your continuing education agencies need to have accurate profile information for you in
order to grant you proper credit for your efforts. In addition, some agencies require
specific additional information such as Social Security Number or License Number.
- Please click PROFILE (top) and fill in ALL THE FIELDS and click UPDATE.
- Next click PROFILE (top) -> ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTES (lower tabs) and fill in ALL FIELDS
(if any are available).
- 3. LEARN - Click on your listed curricula (Learn -> select curricula) to begin

following deployment roles: Dentists, Physician Assistant,
Primary Care Physician, General Nurse, Primary Care Nurse
